We have a solar site that we recently upgraded with a Netonix switch - and so far it's been a great addition. We have a purpose built shed on-site which houses all the equipment and batteries and makes for a nice working environment.

The addition of the Netonix switch allowed us to retain our 24 v power setup and remove the 48 v up-converters & POE-Inj-1000-Din units with it's ability to power all these devices easily - a huge benefit for us.
Since the above picture was taken we've updated the battery bank to utilize (12) 12v 100aH AGM batteries to power the site and the solar array now consists of (3) 275 Solarworld panels.
One of the best things about the switch is the powering of different types of equipment, including those over a long cable run -take for example Port5 which is powering an AF5X radio on a standard 24V POE at just under 300 feet.
