We have a solar site that we recently upgraded with a Netonix switch - and so far it's been a great addition. We have a purpose built shed on-site which houses all the equipment and batteries and makes for a nice working environment.

The addition of the Netonix switch allowed us to retain our 24 v power setup and remove the 48 v up-converters & POE-Inj-1000-Din units with it's ability to power all these devices easily - a huge benefit for us.

Since the above picture was taken we've updated the battery bank to utilize (12) 12v 100aH AGM batteries to power the site and the solar array now consists of (3) 275 Solarworld panels.

One of the best things about the switch is the powering of different types of equipment, including those over a long cable run -take for example Port5 which is powering an AF5X radio on a standard 24V POE at just under 300 feet.

All these nice looking installs make me jealous.

Anyway "PLEASE" upgrade your firmware as there were major fixes especially for DC switches.

v1.3.8 or I suggest v1.3.9rc8 but "please" upgrade to v1.3.8 soon.

And thanks for the post and entry into the contest!

They pictures were right where they were, for some reason the forum lost the links I guess so I've gone ahead and edited it - hopefully they stay now.

emailed them to you, no idea why they keep disappearing - tried 3 different times and they appear for a bit after I first create them then they disappear.

Upload your images as attachments to the post, do not link to a url as it does not work right.

You can edit post 1 and see what I did

hello
What equipment are you using between the netonix and the batteries and the panels? I mean what equipment (model) does the power supply (battery and panel)? Thank you

Our SMART DC models WS-8-150-DC WS-12-250-DC / WS-26-500-DC are designed to hook directly to battery bank.

Then hook your charger to the battery bank separately.
