We are building wind-turbine based sites with a WS-8-150-DC (+ charger/batteries) in a cabinet at the bottom (not shown). We run conduit up the turbine which only fits 5 tough cables (and even that is, tough, no pun intended). More radios were required at this site, so we added a WS-Mini rather than run more cables.
All the power is contained at the bottom, the WS-MINI powered via 48VH from Port1 on the WS-8-150-DC. We can switch up to the WS-12-250-DC if we ever needed another WS-Mini for even more radios.
