DC Site install

Mon Mar 02, 2015 4:42 am

Here is one of our main sites. This site is completely powered by wind and solar. Unfortunately our tough switches left me no choice but to make the change in the middle of winter. Burrr. As such my install isn't as clean as I'd like. We're powering the switch with a 12v to 120v 400W inverter. With a 400-500W wind turbine and 450W of solar.

We love the new switch and so do our customers. So far we've got half of our sites switched over and the rest will follow come spring!

What a day for a trip to the tower!
