VLAN Struggles

Hi,
I'm struggling to connect a Ubiquiti 8-Port downstream switch to a Nettonix WS-8-150-DC.
I'm unable to access Ubiquiti switch on 192.168.1.65, it's not talking back to a cloud controller on the same network, and cannot be pinged.
VLAN #1 192.168.1.0/24
Ubiquiti switch is configured as;
Port #9 (Active) Native VLAN / Network set to Default (192.168.1.0/24)
Tagged VLAN Management: Allow All
My VLAN experience is somewhat limited so I'd appreciate any insight anybody could give. What's the best way of debugging this when accessibility to the switch is extremely limited.
Thanks
