I've spend the last couple of weeks trying to diagnose a TV issue at one of my micropops, Unplugging radios from the switch figuring it must the Ubiquiti radios causing the interference on (Actual channel) 11 and 13.
Today and I unplugged the switch, and the issue went away instantly (already had the radios unplugged for a few minutes before hand). I'm it via a 48 AF POE FWIW. Not sure if this is a one off, but It defiantly shouldn't be happing. Switch is a good 8ft from the Antenna, It must be blasting just enough RF to knock it out. Hoping its something we can fix with a software patch.
Thanks!

Re: WS-6-Mini Causing OTA VHF TV Interference.
You might want to try another switch some times components emit noise if they are boarder line as there is always a +/- tolerance level on all components so another WS-6-MINI may not do it or possibly another TV as maybe it is not accepting acceptable noise levels?
This is why FCC regs usually say +/- 3dB which is a BIG threshold (100%)

I'll probably move it inside, or put it in a metal enclosure. It's at the outdoor antenna and affecting multiple TV's. Just a bit worrisome as we are planning on putting a switch into a cable headend.

what are you powering the Mini with, and do you have the chassis ground lug hooked up to a good ground wire?

Powering with 48V POE from and Airfiber. Its grounded through the cable.
Whats bugging me is the Sector and the backhaul isn't knocking anything out, but the switch is, that just doesn't seem right to me.
