We have deployed a WS-8-150-DC at on of our solar sites. The 48 volt POE option seems to unavailable except port 1.
Is this normal? The documentation seems to indicate that 48 volts is available on all ports.
The solar site is a 24 volt.
I have the latest RC firmware on it.

Re: 48 volt poe option greyed out except port 1
PLEASE always state the firmware version in question:
Personally I strongly suggest using v1.4.2rc6 as v1.4.1 has a bug if you want to use the Discovery Tab
WS-8-150-DC POE options:
Port 1 can do 24V / 24VH / 48V / 48VH
Port 2-6 can do 24V / 48V only
Port 7-8 SFP so N/A
If a port already has a link you can not add or change the POE option for that port.
Meaning if you are powering a device currently you have to turn the POE off then turn it back on to change the option.
The logic here is that if the device already has a link and is operating normally you do not want the user to accidentally fact finger and apply an incorrect POE option because the next thing that happens is I get an RMA request for a port that the user claims came DOA.
There are "many" posts already on here explaining this, here is one where I "SEARCHED" for the word "greyed": viewtopic.php?f=17&t=1696&p=12737&hilit=greyed#p12737
