1.4.1/2 New 8 port DC switches - Error communicating with po

Sat Jul 09, 2016 5:53 pm

We've installed a few WS-8-150-DC switches. 1.4.1 & .2 just reports error in the watts column. Going to the configuration page, there is error in all the power related data fields.

Is there s solution to this?

Also are there MIBs for all the power fields for SNMP?

I would upgrade to v1.4.2 and power cycle it just in case.

but if the switch is not installed near an FM broadcast tower and you test the switch on a bench and the watts or voltage or I2C error is still present then typically the current sensors got damaged from surges or ground potential shift.

You can do an advanced search and read a lot of post discussing this

Advanced search like: +damage +current +sensors

Here are some good posts on grounding:

To RMA your switch read this thread: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=1259

If the unit failed it is fixed for free but if it is damaged we will still fix it for a fee.
