I have strange things happening on a switch ws-8-150
I have 2 cameras and an antenna nanobeam ac 16 dbi
Sometimes I can not find the switch on the network but I always find the connection with the nanobeam ......... .. So I am forced to reboot the SW manually by turning off the power ...... ..
But the worst is that the TX stream of cameras works but impossible to find them on the network in RX with the WS-8-150 ...
Attached is the list of events
Version du firmware
1.4.6

Re: RX WS-8-150
I have no idea as I am not there to test your situation nor do I know what your configuration is.
For all I know you hardcoded port speeds to 1G and they lose the ability to maintain a 1G connection and thus by rebooting the switch a 1G connection is renegotiated?
Are all your ports set to Auto for Speed/Duplex?
Maybe post up your configuration Tabs and describe your topography and explain what is connected to each port and what step you have taken to diagnose what the issue is.
Port 1 and Port 6 seem to be losing Ethernet connections.
I am not there to debug your equipment but to me using normal basic IT skills of deduction I would say possible causes are as follows below.
I have also provided you with basic IT debugging methods to test each hypothesis.
1) Port 1 cable needs re-seated from a bad connection in the port/jack, either switch side or radio side.
Ways to determine this are obviously re-seat RJ-45
2) Bad Port in switch.
I would test this by moving to another Port in switch and see if issue follow to other Port.
3) Bad cable and or End.
I would start by replacing ends and then look at cable. A cable can have a broken wire that gets intermittent connections.
4) Bad Port in device.
I would test this by replacing the device.
I am not saying there is nothing wrong with the switch but there are 30,000+ switches out there happily running fine so if I was you my first assumption would be "what am I doing wrong" and then perform basic diagnostics and if I can find a fault with the switch that does not make any sense I would then post up a LAB that shows the switch is doing something wrong and how to re-produce it in a LAB so we can fix it.
If someone provides us with information/scenario with a LAB that shows us doing something wrong we will jump right on the matter and resolve it.
