I changed IP's on the radio and it stopped. Something polling that IP wiping it out. Possible Air Control or something. Im researching still but any thoughts would be appreciated.
It could be co-incidence or just changing IP's un (bunged) it so I will test it out and see. I rebooted and changed firmware on radio 3 times and it didn't stop it so weird one. At least its fixed now.

Possible IP conflict?
Now that you changed the IP of that radio see if you can see old IP?

Re: port drop every 8 minutes
no duplicates I have ping plotter going pinging that ip and as soon as I changed it stopped. Plus I tried again from Cmd. I am going to put that ip back on tonight to see what happens. In the mean time I copied config of radio and dumped on another spare radio with same ip on same network and it does not drop so it could have been some flakey thing may not ever figure it out. My hunch is when I put the old ip back on it will be fine.

If it was an IP conflict it might take awhile for the other IP to become active once you change the active device as the arp entries in equipment would have to expire.
You definitely have a WEIRD issue going on.

Re: port drop every 8 minutes
update! put the same ip back on it and its fine now. There was no duplicate and I couldn't find anything causing it. I personally think it was the radio and I think any change and apply to the config may have fixed it not just the ip.
