I have several WS-12-250 switches, both AC and DC, that seem to rack up lot of memory usage over time. All running 1.4.8rc7. I have one right now that gets very minimal traffic, no log entries (the last entry in the log is from boot), and monitoring via SNMP periodically. The usage is up over 120MB right now.
Is this normal? If not, what further information can I provide?
Thanks.

Re: High Memory Usage
The memory has nothing to do with the switch packet handling or amount of traffic.
It is only used for the UI, Stats collection, and so on.
Yes we are using a lot of memory to hold all that historical data in memory.
Remember as soon as you login you have access to 1 hour of data on all ports plus even more data is kept for DC models.
