Mikrotik CCR POE problem and random reboot.

Hi,

I've got a (WS-12-250 1.3.4)
and it's doing POE for - Airfibre a SAF Lumina a Mikrotik netmetal and a CCR. There seems to be two slight problems:

1/ In the space of about 5 months it's randomly rebooted twice.

2/ The POE for the CCR seems to turn itself off after or possibly before the reboot.

The first time it turned the POE off on the CCR port I tested the cable and it was fine, so I disabled the PS feature and turned POE back on. Then a month or so later I noticed a reboot and looked and the POE had turned off again on the CCR port!

Can you help?

Well I would do this.

Swap the WS-12-250-AC out with a spare with the latest firmware.
Bring that unit back to office.
Upgrade the firmware
Bench test the unit as explained here: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=2780#p19221

Also let the unit run on your bench for 24 hours not powering anything and make sure it does not reboot on your bench.
Let us know your results.

Your firmware is about over 3 years OLD, upgrade your firmware.

We will not delve into a reported problem unless your on the latest firmware.
