WS-12-250-DC Powers down when I insert fiber SFP

I am having an issue with your WS-12-250-DC switch. I have been testing in the lab for a few weeks now and everything has been working great. I take it out to install it today and when I inserted the fiber sfp and the fiber jumper the entire switch powers off. after this happening multiple times I recall this same problem happening on the same model of switch at another site. I just didnt look into it far enough. I am running version 1.4.9, I did force the fiber port to 1g and it still did the same thing.

OK v1.4.9 is very old and has security holes and there was critical APP update in v1.5.0 for all SMART DC switches and we advised people to upgrade.

Also maybe there is an incimpatible issue with that brand or model of SFP or that SFP is bad?

Upgrade to v1.5.2 or newer
