Hi,

Do you have any SFP module's inserted? - Yes we do
Are you using Discovery at all? - Yes we do
Do you use SNMP in anyway? - Yes we do
Did you notice a difference in the rate of memory loss when upgrading to 1.5.4? - The rate of loss looks more or less the same.

Check the TOP stats we have gathered.

If possible everyone try turning off SNMP to start with and restarting the switch to see if that helps. Right now I just need to isolate where this is coming from.

Hi Stephen,

I have disabled snmp monitoring and snmp on the switch itself. I will give you some stats tomorrow.

I just stumbled on this thread after having a WS-8-150AC randomly reboot and I am not sure why. It is on 1.5.0. I decided to check one of my other WS-8-150AC switches at another tower and found it was using around 108MB or memory. I then decided to upgrade to 1.5.4 as a way to clear out the memory usage. Well I uploaded the fw and then hit start and after a little bit the switch became unresponsive and rebooted itself and all devices powered by it.

After the reboot I saw it was still on 1.5.0 with around 48MB of memory usage. I then upgraded to 1.5.4 and will see if the memory consumption grows. Switch uptime before the reboot was 91 days.
