We have several DC version units that if they are running off the output of a solar charge controller and the controller shuts down the load, the switch will no longer power up unless you go onsite and manually power cycle the unit if power drops to low on the controller and it does a LVD. You can see the two green lights on the PCB lit up but the main LED on the outside front of the unit will do nothing until after a full power cycle of the switch.
We opted to switch the netonix power direct to the batteries to solve this issue and it seems to work BUT now that we have the Netonix shutting down the ports when power is at 19 volts and coming back on at 24 volts input the POE comes on but we have no Ethernet link on ANY of the POE ports. We tried several things like power the port off and back on, power port off remove cable and try another port same thing. Only option was to issue a reboot command from the GUI and it brought all the ports back online that were down previously.
Anyone see this? seems like some kind of bug.
Switch we happened to be working on this morning was a Ws-12-250-DC..
Firmware 1.5.6
Thanks
