Bricked

Tue Aug 11, 2015 9:01 am

I lost power during an update. I can't get back into the switch. Shows no ethernet when plugged in. What is the process to get the switch back up and working?

Do you have a serial console cable?
MUST be a NULL modem cable.

If so hook it up and report what you see during a boot attempt

OK so you need to do a TFTP recover as outlined in this Post viewtopic.php?f=17&t=1073

admin@Vball_SW_:/tmp# rx recovery.tar.gz
CCCCCCCCCCrx: too many errors; giving up

This is the error I get regardless of which step of the recovery I try.

Thank you for your help!
