I would like Netonix to add firmware release that fix only know bug without introducing new features. Introducing new feature with fix often lead to have few or no firmware without bugs and user to stick with old firmware that know that work fine for them.
The firmware numerotation followed is also strange. 1.3.3 -> 1.3.7 introduced some new features. Would not 1.4.0 numerotation had been better ?
Regular firmware numerotation
A.B.C
A change = major update
B change = minor enhencement
C change = fix only
I think, it would be great to follow a line without new features with fix only that work well for us if we don't need the new features added after.
Fix only releases without new features

Yea that is the way we had intended but never stuck with it.
We will see what we can do moving forward
I know that we are planning no major "new" features for awhile until we resolve all known issues and get a 100% stable base.
We want to get v1.3.8 out maybe tonight or this weekend which mainly has bug fixes and some behind the scene enhancements/improvements for I2C error handling mainly affects the WS-8-250-DC and WS-12-250-DC. As well as a final fix for POE Smart which has been dumbed down so people leave it on and only checks for "cross-shorts".
There are also some fixes for the Power Tab on the DC switches and some UI fixes and Safar fixes.
The next thing Eric will be doing is spending several days testing SNMP fully with several different packages.
