Good Day,
Now that the weather has gotten colder my one WS-12-250-DC is reporting "Fan 1 Failure". and I see it drop to 0 RPM. It will then speed up to 2400RPM.
This board is running 1.3.2.
The PHY Temp is only 106F. Once the PHY gets up to 109F the fan spins up to 2,200RPMs again. I'm *guessing* the fan is stopping because the outdoor temperature has dropped significantly and the fan no longer needs to run to keep it cool. Is this an incorrect handling of the report of the fan stopping?

Re: 1.3.2 - Fan Failure Reported?
Matt,
We have been addressing the false fan failure notices with just about every other firmware release and it has gotten a lot better each time with less people having issues.
There were major fixes in v1.3.8 for DC switches so I strongly recommend you upgrade anyway.
But when people report an issue with an older firmware revisions you know the first thing we are going to say is upgrade to the latest version because we can not chase bug reports on older firmware releases?

Yup. That's fine. Just wanted to make sure upgrading had the potential to do something before I did it.
