Did you plug an SFP into the switch? An incompatible SFP could cause contention on the i2c buss.

We are not using SFP with any of these, plus the last one in question is an 8 port that does not have them. The 2 that I think we damaged should be coming back today and tomorrow and I'll get with you on sending them in, I'd like to send this 3rd one in for you to look at as well. How do I setup an RMA?

1.3.8 seems to have resolved this issue for the time being. I had 2 units in the field that were still doing this after power cycles and various previous firmware upgrades. We upgraded them to 1.3.8 today and they are working normally again! Did you guys change anything or just a happy coincidence?

There are these new fangled things called "Release Note", we put them in the post and thread where you download the firmware.

lol I deserve that I guess. It's kinda like the Apple Agreement button from Southpark, nobody reads that stuff, but we will probably regret it sooner or later lol.
