What is the first pic and what is the second pic?
Is the first pick with power on and a link and the second pic is from the radio?
Bad radio maybe?
Did you try it in a different port?

1st screen from AF5x

Re: Strange cable problem ?!?!
I'm doing cable test from the switch with the AF-5X powered on. Since the radio is powered on, I have contact to it through the link, not the data port, as it as shown says no link....
I just don't get that the switch reports everything good, when it's not ?!?!
Ok, testing several times reveals different results, so I expect the connector at the AF-5X end to be bad. I have turned it off now, so that OSPF routes the traffic correct.

Re: Strange cable problem ?!?!
Or you "could" have a bad AF5X, I would make sure I take a spare everything when you go just to be safe!

Re: Strange cable problem ?!?!
I was wondering.....
Could it be a power problem ?
I can only power the AF-5X on the 29 m cable run with 24V (0.5A) from port 3 of the WS-12-250B. It does not show the 24V (0.75A) option on the port...

Re: Strange cable problem ?!?!
First Rev Switches only had .75A 24V on the ports that supported 48VH all other ports were .5A but later Revs we increased the poly fuse to .75A.
However the Polyfuse acts like a "breaker" meaning that unless your radio goes off line when POE is ON and you have to reset the breaker by turning POE OFF and then back on it is not a power issue as the Polyfuse (breaker) will POP or TRIP when it gets to hot and the radio will go OFF LINE and require the POE to be turned OFF then back on to reset the POE Polyfuse (breaker).
