I don't follow this forum like I probably should, so excuse me if this is a know issue.
I'm not sure what happened, but we seemed to have some kind of power supply issue at a site this morning. When I got there we had AC power and the DC was running, but it was quite low at 18volts on a 24volt system. The Netonix was off but my MT router was still running. After I got voltages restored to 27 volts, the Netonix stayed off. It wasn't until I completly disconnected the unit and plugged it back in that I was able to get the Netonix to turn back on..
Is this normal, as I wouldn't think it would be? Did we maybe have some kind of "blip" that caused the Netonix to go in to some kind of protection mode, if that's a feature??

Was this on v1.4.6 when it happened or did you since upgrade it?
Do you have email alerts set up on this and if so did you receive alerts at the warning voltage and then the hibernate voltage?
How low do you THINK the battery bank got to?
We do "think" this was a BLIP but Julian and I are planning on doing a battery of test here to try and recreate this once we complete a few things and get caught up.

The firmware was at this current one when the issue happened. I don't have email alerts on, and I also don't have my monitoring checking voltage (yet) as this is a new system. When I got there, I had 18. something volts on the batteries with 27. something at the PS. I'm not familiar enough with the system to know if the charger wasn't working (a Meanwell UPS din mounted unit) as I thought it was weird I had such a low voltage on the battery side, but correct on the PS side of that unit.
I bypassed the UPS module to get voltage up to 27 volts on the battery side thinking that might have been the issue. But, the Netonix never came back online. It wasn't until I unplugged DC voltage to the Netonix, waited 10-15 seconds and plugged it back in when it started working again.
If it helps, and if I'm not mistaken, when I purchased this unit I think you said it was a first batch or design of some sort. Maybe it just has a bug, but, I'm speculating completely.

OK so was the switch connected DIRECTLY to the batteries or something else?
The WS-12-250-DC and WS-8-150-DC should be connected directly to the batteries, this is what they are designed for.

The out put of the UPS module goes to an inline current sensor which after that goes to a parrallel connection to the batteries,netonix,and MT router

I do see I have it wired wrong according to the UPS module though. I have +/- of PS going to the DC side of UPS module, But then have the battery side going to the current meter on the site monitor with the batteries and other "load" devices connected after that current monitor. According to the UPS spec sheet, The load should be on the DC side of the UPS device, with the batteries isolated.
It's kind of the same difference other than I would only have 2 amps of current available to charge and run everything being on the wrong side of that UPS device.
I may have slowly discharged the batteries to a very low point over the past couple weeks and didn't realize it. Which might have gotten the Netonix to turn off. Then (maybe) by time I got to it 8 hours later or so, it had been able to charge the batteries up to 18Volts. Still doesn't explain why the Netonix didn't turn back on if that is the case though..
