I just installed it and held my breath for a few minutes watching the progress bar go off the chart.
It did finally come back so I will commence my testing.
First observation is that the time is correct on the log entries.

Re: Firmware 1.2.0rc4 comments
Yea Eric needs to change that to a spinning wheel or something as I hate those periods as well.
Under the STP tab on WS-24-400A the Priority for ports 13-24 is grayed out and locked even if you enabled STP on that port. In my opinion we should allow all fields to be modified even if diabled but then we would have to do this on all Tabs like LAG.
I have yet to get the TFTP to work yet but might be doing it wrong so I will consult with the programmer.

Duplicate VLANs
I noticed that the GUI allows one to create VLANs that already exist on the switch causing duplicate entries.

Firmware 1.2.0rc4 update remote get switch unstable
We have the mgt on the switch on a tagget vlan1000 ip 10.0.0.10 gw 10.0.0.254/24 with ip and gateway.
If we firmware upgrade from a laptop on a routed net from 192.168.1.10 when the switch is updated now we see a higher ping responce with 3-5ms more then before and if we do a reboot remort from laptop the switch do not use gateway any more and only local access is working, to get it working again a new firmware upload is needed and only works to next remote reboot.....
some thing get wrong with the management Gateway stop working.....
We have tested this on 3 switches all with same resoult
/Carsten

Nice catch, I will pass to programmers and we will fix this in v1.1.X and v1.2.X

If this broke the first switch WHY would you do it on 3 more switches?
v1.2.0rc4 is a RELEASE CANDIDATE and we says it is "untested"
You may need to downgrade to v1.1.0 and possibly factory default the switch and reset the switch up.
We put that firmware up there for people who want to test the firmware in a LAB or an environment that is not production!

The switch with 1.1.0, was it downgraded from 1.2.0rc?

Re: Firmware 1.2.0rc4 comments
no only upgraded to 1.1.0
we managed to get it workin again with this:
Default; manual konfiguration typing; updated firmware to 1.1.0; hard power off.
and then "reboot" from remote is working again
we will try to test this on 1.2.0rc4.......
