Re: Another mystery freak out and reboot
Sorry to revive this, what's the RMA procedure? I'm not on-site and I need to send the folks packing this up very explicit directions (both packing and figuring out what documents are needed).

RMA instructions here: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=1259
There is also a link to the RMA instruction in the footer of our web store.
GIVE A VERY SPECIFIC DETAILS ON WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR TO TEST FOR AND REPAIR ON THE RMA FORM SO WE KNOW WHAT TO LOOK FOR AND MAKE SURE WE FIX.

Got your switch in this morning --
Definitely a power problem, but internal to the switch (fluctuating 3.3v). It looks like you were one of the super "lucky" people who got one of (the few of) these that made it into the wild, sorry about all this.
Kind of an odd symptom for this failure, but the more I work on electronics, the weirder it gets.
We'll get your (repaired) unit back to you as soon as possible, thanks for your patience!

Re: Another mystery freak out and reboot
Cool, since I didn't have all the info for the RMA, I was hoping the folks in our office would get the right info (and that we were within the warranty period). Glad that it was a problem that could be positively identified. We all hate mysteries in this business. :)
Is there any way an end user can check for this problem?

In the GUI, you want to go over to the 'device status' tab and look at the 3 sliders for board power..
With boards that present this issue, the 3.3v slider will move between 3.2 and 3.4v, and the 24v and 48v will fluctuate more widely.
