Can't duplicate the problem, must be the SFPs.

Re: BOARD INDEX / WISP SWITCH™ / HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE ISSUE
Gentleman
This morning I have been trying some other sfp's to see if they work.
And I have found something very interesting. I found that after setting a mtu setting in the switch if I remove and then reinstall the sfp it starts working
if I am changing from 1528 to 9600 with sfp already installed I do not pass any traffic ( all packet sizes) until I remove and reinstall sfp back into port on switch and then I am able to pass all packet sizes including jumbo packets.
If I am changing from 9600 to 1528 with sfp already installed I do not pass any traffic ( all packet sizes) until I remove and reinstall sfp back into port on switch and then I am able to pass all packet sizes except for jumbo packets, which I would expect.
for some reason sfp has to be removed and reseated before starting to pass traffic.
when I was testing before and I would set mtu setting back ( after failing to work at 9600) to 1528 on the active port that needs to pass jumbo packets. I would have to reboot switch to get my traffic flowing again.
All three of these sfp models exhibit the same results.
PAC Opto model LM28-C35-TC-N
GTS8510-MC
Alcatel Lucent model#3HE00027CA 01 / MFGR: Finisar MFGR P/N FTLF8519P3BTL-AS

problem solved.
applied mtu setting to each fiber port, reseated each sfp and all tests good.
Thanks for the Help
