OK, thanks for doing that test, it definitely tells us a lot.
I know you said you don't administer the email system you guys are using but if you happen to be able to get more info on it obviously anything will help.
In the mean time I'll look into setting up a postfix server on my network and see if I can cause the switch to crash that way.
Sending low voltage warning email causes WS-12-250-DC reboot

Here’s a quick screenshot of my mail setup and I have the low voltage reboot issue too..

Looks like you are using a third party service to handle smtp. And after looking briefly at the doc's mailjet does offer postfix as an optional message transfer agent. If you have the option, see if changing to a different MTA change's whether or not the switch crashes. Exim maybe.

I'm having the very same issue with a WS-12-250-DC running 1.4.9 firmware... I have the notice voltage set genuinely high (lovely mindful), yet bringing down it so the notice wasn't activated fixed it right away. The destinations a 24v site that draws a consistent heap of up around 7amps.

From what we've found so far, it looks like it might be an issue with our messaging system interacting with postfix as the MTA (Mail Transfer Agent). Are you by any chance using a postfix based system? (The more confirmations the better)
Re: Sending low voltage warning email causes WS-12-250-DC re
We use postfix for our MTA, and have had the issue.

Re: Sending low voltage warning email causes WS-12-250-DC re
To everyone suffering from this issue, I have successfully setup a local postfix MTA that hooks into my test gmail for the SMTP option.
I have worked on several configuration's and I have not been able to reproduce the issue.
I will continue to play with it a bit longer as I still have a few idea's. However, any further information would help.
If someone is willing to post the details, or PM them too me, I need to know more about your MTA, MDA, MSA, etc. Just more details about how your mailing system is setup with our switch so I can hopefully reproduce the issue.
The best clue we have right now is that it is related to postfix as the MTA.
Thank you for any further information.

JayDee, thank you for setting up an environment to point my switches to so we can test this. We may have begun to decipher this mystery.

JayDee, I have gotten past the issue's I PM'd you about and I was able to perform the test, sending a low voltage warning email via the service you set me up with and the switch did not reboot. I am sending you the log file to see if it matches close to what you have. I'm not posting it here in case you consider any of this information sensitive. Please let me know if there is a difference in how it start's up or anything else.

Did this ever get resolved? (I had the issue but haven’t upgraded to the 1.5.5 firmware yet, instead I’ve just disabled the warning email.)
If you want I’m happy to send you my mailjet login and password to test with?
