I have tried 3 MikroTik routers, it is the same with them all, as for playing with it, I could only spend a few minutes with it, before it had to go in place, no choice, my intention was to give it a week or so but circumstances dictated otherwise.

It is running with a static at the moment and it seems to have settled down.

So if it falls over I am in big trouble, I have nothing else in stock at the moment powerful enough to handle the throughput.

Well there has never been a better time to buy another on. We just lowered our MSRP on all our switches today!!!

My favorite switch we have is the WS-12-250-AC for $299.95 USD

Same size as a Tough Switch but has 12 POE ports and 2 SFP ports so 14 ports in a SMALL package!!!

May I assume you are using Chrome?

Have you tried the following?

I set mine to Remember for three months and am not getting nagged.

AFAIK Firefox lets you make a permanent exception. At least mine on ubuntu does.

What does the C at the end stands for, mine is a WS-12-250A

Since there are several models of the small unit

WS-12-DC = Dumb DC expects 48V wattage depends on what you feed it with also 12 port (plus 2 SFP) should have called it WS-14
WS-12-250-AC = 12 port (plus 2 SFP) should have called it WS-14 but anyway 250 watts uses AC power
WS-12-250-DC = 12 port (plus 2 SFP) should have called it WS-14 but anyway 250 watts uses DC power (Smart DC)

Who said anything about Ubuntu, I only use Ubuntu for servers they do not need a browser.

I use Windows XP 90% of the time, occasionally I have to get out Windows 7 or Windows 8.1 Laptops depending what I need to do.

I really appreciate any purchase of our WISP switches but I strongly suggest when trying out our switch for the first time set it up and play with it in your LAB or office first to familiarize yourself with the product before putting it into production.

1) Our switch has a Tar Pit security feature on the UI and CLI which means it would take for ever for anyone to crack into it and it logs attempts in the log for you to see who is doing it.

2) Our switches have an access list which you can limit who can even access the UI / CLI interface

3) Of course un-checking the "Eanable" HTTPS check box will disable HTTPS?

There is a command in the CLI to enable the HTTPS (I think, I requested Eric put one in a while ago) so thee should be no reason to factory default it to re-enable HTTPS?

If the switch works with a Windows DHCP server and I am pretty sure Eric tested it against Linux DHCP servers maybe the problem is with the MT router? I can ask Eric to check into this but maybe you could do a little testing and verify it on your end that there is not something else amiss?

I do not recommend playing with a production switch, do you have a backup spare switch to play with?

You can change the HTTPS port but we do not support HTTP at this time.

I am still not getting an IP when set to DHCP client and now I have devices that are not getting IP addresses either.

One device I have is easy to test and none critical, so if I use the Ubiquiti Radio's POE adapter and place a spare Netgear switch between the Wisp Switch port ( The port that is connected to the backhaul radio for the switch ) and the POE port marked LAN then plug my device in to that Netgear switch, I get an IP from the DHCP server, if I put everything back on the wisp switch the device will not get an IP address.

There seems to be a problem with DHCP and the switch.

By chance you do not have the DS check boxes checked under the ports Tab for any of the ports do you? *see below*
