Sun May 22, 2016 9:10 pm

I just noticed that a switch I recently updated is showing 100% CPU usage?

If anyone has problems this can be disabled on the Device/Configuration Tab
We did not have the ability to test LARGE FLAT network segments

I moved your post to the proper thread.

Do you run a LARGE flat network?
Maybe you can drop to Linux and run Top and post up a screen grab of what process is using so much CPU.
Also you can try disabling the Discovery Tab.

I set back to 14.0RC19 which I think I was on before and issue cleared up

But I have no clue, that is the only thing done at that location in months,

Flat network on this portion = yes.
Tried disabling Discovery Tab and no change.
Not familiar enough with Linux to perform the other request...

Well disable Discovery Tab then reboot switch.

If everything looks OK then try enabling Discovery Tab and confirm it is Discovery or was an anomaly.

Confirmed that after disabling Discovery Tab and then reboot, the issue is resolved

Would be nice if you can test if it was an anomaly and not the Discovery Tab.

Please Enable it and see what happens. You know how to disable it if need be.

If you re-enable it does it do the same thing and you have to disable it again?

If so we need a volunteer that can make their switch remote accessible either by putting it on the web or using Team viewer so Eric can see if this can be corrected for LARGE flat network segments if it is determined to be a problem for sure.
