Hes correct, this is not so much a bug but a mis-communications between me and Eric.
Below is Skype conversation going on right now:
[11:38:06 AM] Eric Stern: that's not a bug, that's how you asked for it to work
[11:41:53 AM] Christopher Sisler: It works as I wanted now as far as selecting but I did not ask for you to take out the deselect if you click a row that is selected already
[11:42:30 AM] Eric Stern: you have to, otherwise on the Ports tab every time to select a field to edit it toggles the selection
[11:43:11 AM] Eric Stern: before clicking on the edit fields didn't trigger the selection so it was fine
[11:43:55 AM] Christopher Sisler: I asked you to accept clicking on fields in the row where as before selecting values or input fields you did not select the row.
OK then do it this way. If you select a Row that is not already selected no matter where they select in that row you select.
If the row is already selected and they select an input field you do not deselect but if they select anything other than an INPUT field you deselect it.
[11:45:54 AM] Eric Stern: this makes more sense. in no other place (spreadsheets, windows explorer, etc) does clicking on something toggle the selection. click = select
[11:49:10 AM] Christopher Sisler: Can you do it the way I just outlined above for next version?
[11:49:53 AM] Eric Stern: yes
[11:50:02 AM] Christopher Sisler: Thank you!
