Power off issue with DC Switch

Seems like a bug in this switch, (1.3.2)
The switch powers off the port when the voltage drops but when the power rises above the threshold, the port does not turn back on.
The only way I have been able to get the ports powered back up is to reboot the switch.

We tested the crap out of this but we will test it again today.
But to better simulate your issue a little more information is needed.
What model is this, WS-8-250-DC or WS-12-250-DC
Firmware is version 1.3.2 (you should always upgrade to newest firmware version before reporting an issue)
Please post a screen grab of the Power Tab.
Please post a screen grab of the Log Tab where the port is turned OFF
Please indicate what port is turning off and not turning back on.

Hi Chris,
Model is WS-8-250-DC
When I rebooted the switch, I lost the logs, will try and get them if/when it happens again.
Ports 7 and 5 were the culprits, we saw lack of voltage and manually shut off ports 8 and 6.
Power tab was set to come up at 22.5 but when voltage was at 22.7 nothing, so we rebooted.
As a matter of interest, the day before, we had the power set incorrectly and port 1 when down, that port came back up when we had enough sun but we could not access the switch and the other ports would not come up. We rolled a truck, rebooted the switch and everything came up.
Thanks
Dave

If you "Manually" turn POE OFF on the Ports Tab then the Power Tab can not turn it back ON!
But I am confused that you speak of ports 5 and 7 and 8 and 6
If a port POE is turned OFF by the user under the Ports Tab the Power Tab will not be able turn POE on to that port that was turned OFF on the Ports Tab by the user.
The Power Tab controls can only Turn Ports OFF that are set to ON on the Ports Tab and then Turn them back on. When the Power Tab daemon is turning POE ports up and down it is not changing the written config just a boolean variable (flag) as to current state as to the Power Tab criteria but if the POE port is OFF on the Ports Tab it stays OFF.

Ports 5,6,7,8 disabled due to low voltage
Voltage now at 22.9, set to come up at 22.5, nothing happened
I realize I am running one version lower that current but release notes indicated no changes to this feature...
Please upgrade to v1.3.3, there were changes in the the firmware, we need you to be on the latest version of the firmware.
Please post a screen grab of the Power Tab, Ports Tab, and Device Config Tab (After firmware upgrade)
If you upgrade the firmware and post the requested Tabs we will simulate this in our LAB and see whats going on.

OK
I guess it is best to wait until tomorrow morning and see if the issue remains. I have now upgraded the switch.
Thanks

lets us know how it goes, i just hooked up a unit & tried in the lab today & it turned on & shut off as specified in the power tab page.

The issue remains with latest firmware.
Set off voltage to 23.5
Oct 3 05:03:04 switch[1366]: Disabling PoE power on port 8 due to Input Voltage (23.4 Vdc) less than user specified Power Down voltage (23.5)
Oct 3 07:15:03 switch[1366]: Enabling PoE power on port 8 due to Input Voltage (23.7 Vdc) greater than user specified Power Up voltage (23.6)
Power tab shows port as OK but no power to port, but port did not power up, see screen shot
Fix was: after voltage was above threshold, disable POE to port, re-enable POE

Sorry, I thought the GUI indicator was saying no POE power, not that the indicator was ok, but no actual power to port.
I will double check in lab.
Thanks for your help.
