WS-8-250-AC switches cause each other to stop pinging
I have a strange issue when I access 2 my Netonix switches at the same time: they take turns dropping pings and the GUI shows the red banner "Attempting to reestablish communication with the device ...". So I thought I had a bridge loop somewhere but after turning off everything except the 2 switches tonight I have established there is no chance of a bridge loop. The only thing out of the ordinary that I noticed is that the MAC address of the switches are identical
. How does that happen and how can it be fixed?-

Well that should not happen (Same MAC Address)
I can however fix that.
Please get the MAC addresses from the decals on the bottom of the 2 switches and PM them to me.
I may be a little slow responding today as I am working from home sic with a 101F fever.

Chris, Sorry to hear your sick. This is NO RUSH! I'll get the information for you soon but I don't want to hear back from you until you're under 100F. In the meantime take care of yourself!

I reprogrammed the MAC to what it should be but I accidentally rebooted the switch because I just copied and pasted my script in I normally use on the bench and forgot to remove the reboot at the end.
I hope this was not in service?

We're good. I had it isolated on the bench! Do I need to do anything?
