Backup / Restore bug - 1.3.8
Backing up a WS-12-250-DC and restoring the config on a WS-12-250-AC makes the WS-12-250-AC to become a WS-12-250-DC model and shows the "Power" tab as well.

You got me on this one, never thought about trying to back up a configuration to a different model.
Thanks for reporting this. We will get this fixed.

Re: Backup / Restore bug - 1.3.8
This isn't possible as the model is not stored in the config backup.
My best guess is that when you restored to the WS-12-250-AC the WS-12-250-DC was still running on the network and then they both had the same IP address.
When two devices have the same IP you will randomly get one of them and you ended up actually talking to the WS-12-250-DC.
