I am installing my first Netronix WS-12-250-AC with 10 more to go. I am having an issue with latency from my MT 2011 to the WS-12-250-AC, the configuration is below.
TP-Link TL-SM311LM SFP Modules on both sides
Dual Mode fiber LC connectors
That's about it. I am not experiencing the latency when testing from within the Netronix to any device connected with Cat 5 or 6.
Any help would be appreciated. No setting have been changed accept for Vlans have been setup through the SFP and one port.
Thanks in advance.

Re: High Latency SFP Port
Are you on current firmware, 1.3.8 or the latest RC?
I've used several different brands on copper SFP's in the same model switch you have and never seen that. I've actually never ran any fiber SFP's. The one time I did try it very early on (more than a year ago) I didn't get it to work between a mikrotik router if I remember right.
I think I was using mikrotik SFP's also. Make sure your on current firmware and if you have other sfp modules try those out.

Re: High Latency SFP Port
Current Version for sure. This is the only Sfp I am using, it happens to be the first of 20 so if this will not play then back go all the Netronix switches. I guess I can try going to a netgear pro safe router and see if it is a MT issue. Thanks for the input.

Re: High Latency SFP Port
I would try a different SFP module, could be a bad one?
I would also play with the port Auto/1G setting on both sides of the link.
Also I would run v1.3.9rc14 if your running v1.3.8, just a better firmware with a lot of fixes. I know it is not a FINAL version but it is solid.
And it very well could be the MT.
I wish I could be more helpful but there is not much I can do to help you diagnose this, you just going to have to swap parts out to narrow it down.

Re: High Latency SFP Port
Sirhc, Thanks for the information, I have changed every component in the setup with no difference. I will get back with you soon but i will have to move the problem to the office for testing because screwing with this live is keeping me from getting any sleep. Once I get it isolated I would welcome you to login and have a look.
Thanks for the help!!
