What version is running on the switch? Make sure you're on current firmware or even the latest RC.
What browser? have you tried it with another browser? Are you sure no one else is in the switch?

I've seen the same error under both Firefox and IE (Windows 7)... I've also found that I'm able to save the changes anyway. In most cases where I've seen this I'm pretty sure nobody else is in it because it is sitting on my desk and the only thing connected to it is my laptop.

If I see it again (and remember to) I'll gather more info to share.
Today is an average day: Worse than yesterday, but better than tomorrow.

Can also happen if 2 devices/switches are on the same IP and your laptop probably has a wireless connection.
Support is handled on the Forums not in Emails and PMs.
Before you ask a question use the Search function to see it has been answered before.
To do an Advanced Search click the magnifying glass in the Search Box.
