I'm running firmware 1.4.8 on WS-24-400a board revision D, and I am getting the board temp "error" as well. Also, my fans aren't on all the time, and just kick on every once in a while. I wouldn't say this is a problem, but my CPU and PHY temps are around 100c. I haven't logged into this switch in quite some time, but I just wanted to see if this is a problem, or if it is standard behavior to only see the fans kick on for a few moments every minute or two with the temperatures that high.

Well first thing I would try is rebooting it, and while your at it upgrade to v1.4.9.

If no love try a power cycle not just a warm reboot.

If still a failure then you have a hardware issue and you need to RMA it.

So far so good after a soft reboot/firmware upgrade. Unrelated to the topic, but any idea on when MSTP will be out of beta?

No Idea on MSTP, right now working on issue with WS-26-500-DC
After that I need to get with Mike99 and see if he has a list of things for Eric and then push Eric to fix them
