This is a remote site, so it takes time to get there or else I would have already been there.

False Fan alerts have been fixed in v1.4.0 however I would use v1.4.2rcX
Howver v1.4.0 has some nasty bugs so your chouce is v1.4.1 or v1.4.2rcX - Your call

1.4.2rc4 is working great for me on 23 switches.
