I have a WS-12-250-DC that is currently uplinked on its trunked port via a NanoBeam M5 19
.
When the other side of the wireless link goes down (but the nanobeam is still active) the switch becomes unresponsive and stops passing data. It still supplies power in the same state as previously so the Nanobeam is still accessible when the radio link is restored but not the switch or anything else attached through it.
The switch is unresponsive on its serial port too, the only way to restore connectivity beyond the Nanobeam is to manually power cycle the switch.
This has happened a few times now and i've tried simplifying the configuration each time but it still occurs.

Re: WS-12-250-DC unresponsive after losing uplink
There is a known bug in the release notes with v1.4.2 and older if there is a problem with the switch contacting the SMTP server to send an alert or the mail server is slow or you have SMTP in the switch mis-configured it can cause the UI to stop and possibly other issues.
Always go back and read the release notes as I try to update known issues when they are found and or read the release notes of the current RC version to see if there is a reported fix.
Your option are to either disable SMTP or upgrade to v1.4.3rc4

Support is handled on the Forums not in Emails and PMs.

Thank's, don't know how I missed the SMTP note.
I'll try 1.4.3rc4 for now and may try forcing it to replicate (or hopefully not) when i'm close enough to reboot it if necessary.
