VLAN help

Sat Sep 03, 2016 9:20 pm

I'm trying to accomplish the following at one of our Tower locations;

The network uses the IP range 172.24.199.0/24, subnet 255.255.255.0 and gateway 172.24.199.1

WS-12-250-AC Switch is currently on 172.24.199.16
version: 1.4.3rc7
So a simple VLAN 200 would solve my problem. This way I could rename the current default mgt VLAN 1 as Client IPs and add VLAN 200 as Client Radios VLAN and assign the range 172.24.200.2/24 with 255.255.255.0 subnet to it. Example; This way I could re-configure Client 1 Radio 172.24.199.101 to be Client 1 Radio 172.24.200.100 and Client 1 Router stays at 172.24.199.100

Test AP's and Client Radio are on "Bridge Mode" and WDS is set on both.
172.24.200.17 AP
172.24.200.100 Client Radio
I believe I got things somewhat working... Just need to get the NTP on the Clients Radio to update to the correct date/time. Client Radio Example: 172.24.200.100

NTP is not passing traffic???

What browser are you using causing your VLAN Tab header to be messed up like that?
Why you do have Trunk Port checked for all those ports, are you passing any other VLANs other than 200?

Why do you have Qs on your Default VLAN?

I'm using IE 11 it's only sometime that happens.

No, right now I'm not passing any vlans to those ports. I was trying to get vlan Trucked over to those ports in my testing. What should they be? The Q's was the only way that I could get a test Radio and AP to work with vlan 200 so I could try configuring Radio's & AP's on the 172.24.200.0/24 and leave the clients router ip's at the 172.24.199.0/24

The only problem I was having was once I got the an AP & a Radio to work on vlan 200 - 172.24.200.0/24 was that the AP & Radios could not talk to NTP to update to the correct date/time.

Where is the time server your trying to use?

If it is out on the web and not your own internal IP and the devices have invalid IPs how will they get there?
