WS-8-150 DC sleep/hibernate

Hi Chris,

Have got the above on firmware 1.4.4 and can't see how to hibernate and wakeup on switch voltages. Have these not got this function? will the switch keep going till it kills my batteries? The 12-250 dc have this.

Thanks, I think this is an important feature as if I miss the power failure then the batteries will be killed so a work around even if it still draws a small amount of power would be good.

I believe that is in v1.4.4

It is not like the WS-12-250-DC where it uses far less than 1 watt in hibernation mode, the WS-8-150-DC will use around 4-6 watts even if in hibernation mode.

If you really want the full benefit of next to no power draw you need the WS-12-250-DC

Comes down to extra hardware (a special CPU) and cost and a lot of people wanted a smaller less expensive model.
