Hello.

When using aircontrol 2 to scan to discover broatcast for new devices i get link state changed.
WS-24-400A I am running the latest beta, also had this problem on the last 3 firmwares.
I disabled Discovery on the switch but it did not help, what could be the problem?

What devices are on those ports? Did they reboot when this happened?

HI.

Sorry for the late reply, Was vey busy with something else.
Just checked the Switch again. it also happens when not doing any scans. It can be everyday or every 2,3,4,5 days seems random.
I am not doing anything strange on it.
Rocket M5,s, Rocket Ac, AF5X, 3 Ubiuqiti airrouters.

If you have determined that it is not related to discovery scans and it happens randomly that would indicate it is something environmental.

Possible causes:
- power issues
- ground issues
- cable issues
- failing hardware (either the switch or something else in the network)

Well thats a bugger.
Power, grounding, cable has all been checked and replaced with new just in case.
The switch is only 2 years old and never been out the server rack.

Can you reproduce the problem on demand? (ie by running a discovery scan or something)

Yes i can if i scan for devices useing aircontrol 2 i can see the lights on the switch change and link state change in the switch and the Ap`s reboot
Its been ok for 2 days now as i have no scanned for new devices but maybe in a few days it might have linkstate changed, without scanning for devices it can still happen but not often
