I would suggest upgrading to latest release & re-test.
If after upgrading issue is still present, the unit may be damaged & need to be RMA.

Yes v1.4.5rc8 (always try the latest rc version)
All that is really different between v1.4.4 and v1.4.5rc8 are reported bug fixes. Most times you should always run the latest rc version.
But I am guessing your unit is either damaged or failed and will require an RMA.
