We have multiple Netonix Switches deployed. Recently, one of them keeps restarting SNMP. The log keeps stating: "[i]monitor: restarting snmpd[/i]" sometimes a couple times a day. The SNMP Uptime will then reset to 0 which keeps throwing off our monitoring software. The actual uptime is about 45 days as of right now.

We have a 2nd Netonix physically next to this switch that is doing just fine. Same Board Rev but Firmware is 1.4.2.

If you experience a suspected firmware bug you need to confirm it exists in the LATEST code which right now is v1.4.7rc10

The reason is because v1.4.6 is DEAD, no more development is occurring on that version.

The current version being developed is v1.4.7

So please load v1.4.7rc10 and confirm the problem exists there then report back.

And if you report back that the issue is still there please post up your config TABs

I wasn't sure about trying out 1.4.7 since its still a RC but I'll see about upgrading to it and let you know.

We have a many Netonix next to this switch that is doing just fine. Same Board Rev but Firmware is 1.5.8.
