We recently had a WS-26-DC die at one of our sites. We thought it was due to a nearby lightning strike. We assumed it was ruined so we took it apart. Upon further inspection though, it appears that only one component on the board is damaged. It looks like a voltage regulator.

Is this repairable? This appears to be the only damaged component on the board.
WS-26-DC failure, is it repairable?

I'd prefer to bring this in for repair - That part itself is a protection diode, but there may be other circuits damaged which may not present visually, and which I'll be able to catch using factory test.
We will repair (for a fee) any Netonix switch for as long as we have the parts to do so; We don't subscribe to some of the other guys' business practices.

We generally run a <1 week turnaround on repair units.
