Change voltage remotely while device is plugged in?

I need to change voltage on a AirFiber backhaul link (remote side) from 24v to 48v. Is there any way for me to perform this remotely?
From the GUI, you need to first power it off so it drops link. The GUI will not let you select a PoE option on a port that has link.
ISTR you can do it from SSH. There was a thread on it a while back.
