WS-12-250-DC 1560MTU Data stops

Chris - One of our WS-12-250-DC units 1.4.7, connected via sfp/fiber to a MT 2011 router.

When I change the WS sfp port to 1560mtu the port won't pass any data. Other ports on WS are 1560 w/ no issues. Ports on MT are 1560 w/no issues. This is the same exact setup we use at other towers with no issue.

I'm not completely sure if it's the WS, but data stops only when this port is changed on WS from default 1528 to 1560 (haven't tried other values.).

Do you have any insight or know why this would happen?

It's the same sfp module we use on other towers, not sure if an sfp module would care about mtu...

Thanks

There was another recent thread where a particular SFP would not do jumbo packets. I would try a different model SFP or at least mention which model you use so Eric et al can test if he has one.

As well can not understand why you would not be running the latest code which is v1.4.8rc12 or newer.

RC does not mean Release Candidate. It is simply a throwback naming scheme which we have said a million times on the forums.

All the reported bugs since v1.4.7 was released have been fixed in v1.4.8rc12 or newer.

Not saying this will fix your issue, just saying you should be running newer code as what you are running is 6 months old with many known bugs that have all been fixed.
