Power Supply Controller Temp

We are having an issue with a switch and for some reason we seem to be having big temperature swings every couple weeks or so on relating to the Power Supply Controller Temp. Other temperatures increase and decrease in a normal pattern. The screenshot (3 days) shows the rapid upswing yesterday and three downswings. Looking at the fan and other details, I am not seeing the fan cut off or have any changes when these occurrences happen.

This is a WS-12-250-DC running 1.5.0 Firmware. Is this indicative of a failing power supply?

Why do you feel this is a problem?
I see the power supply getting warm during peak hours and in the warmth of the day and cooling down in off peak hours and evenings?
My guess is if you compared this to the bandwidth graphs you would see it getting warmer under load as radios use more watts to Tx.
Also what is the input voltage your using, and does it drop at all during these times making the power supply work harder?

We are running 48V and 48VDC. We are running 2.5amps of total power. There was no unusual data usage (it was generally flat for the 4 hours). The only variation more that 5mbps at the site was at 10am (hours prior to the issue). What was also unusual was that it was not a particularly hot day compared to others that we have had over the last month. When that spike happened, the switch bounced power to a couple of the ports. Our temporary solution was to turn off one of the radios being powered by the switch (4:25ish) until later in the day to reduce power load. We have now added an additional fan and more ventilation which has dropped the temperatures in general by 10 degree C. I was only concerned because I saw the spike which was unusual.
