Converting from AC power to DC power?

Not sure if I posted this question or not?
I have several sites which have to have DC run switches in them (no choice). So how is the best way to convert the AC run switches to accept DC power to them? (And YES, I understand this voids the warranty!)

What voltage ranges will the switches take at that point?

Thanks,
Wayne

48V +/- if you want to power 48V devices
If you are just running 24V devices you could supply down to about 26V DC I think, anything less than that and the DC to DC down converters to 24V will not work.

So, My 24 volt battery bank will not work in this situation? As it would drop below 24 volts when it being used up! I would have to supply it 48 volts then? Would I have the same situation if the 48 volts drops?

I do not need to the POE function, just the switch to work! POE is handled currently by DLI POE 24 unit!

will work with anything from about 34-52 volts for sure.
