SNMP udp port on WS-12-250-DC

I am trying to load one of our WS-12-250-DC into prtg and I have it connected via a pepwave radio with udp port 161 forwarded to the switch. I keep getting the old -2003 error in prtg and it fails to import any sensors from the switch. (No response (check: firewalls, routing, snmp settings of device, IPs, SNMP version, community, passwords etc) (SNMP error # -2003)

I have tried doing a port scan via https://www.ipfingerprints.com/portscan.php and it does show that port 161 is open and accepting connections.

any advice? I dont see anywhere in the switch config to change wich port snmp traffic uses... is that configurable?

At present the snmp port is not configurable. That's something I can look into if necessary. In the mean time have made any changes to your Access Control settings?

SNMP was definitely working in that version. Is your switch publically accessible? If it isn't, I don't see how that port scanning tool would be of much help if it can't get through your NAT. Maybe it might be better to try and run a port scan with NMAP on the host machine that has PRTG on it?

I did get it working, I believe the error was in my prtg configuration. all snmp data is working as expected. thank you
