12-250-DC powers down everytime I submit a change on my AF5x

I have had multiple problems with your Netonix 12-250-DC but this one is one of the most frustrating. I had an issue with the switch powering off when I inserted a fiber sfp, after upgrading the firmware to the 1.5.3 it fixed that issue. Now on a different switch, same power, same firmware, everything powers up until I submit a change on my AirFiber 5 X that I am feeding out of this switch. The AF5x will reboot upon me submitting the change and it takes the Netonix down and will not come back up without a hard reboot of the switch. I have checked the forums and made all of the changes I can think of but nothing seems to help. I put a 12-250-AC in its place and make the same changes and that switch will stay up no problem. I have also tried another DC switch with the same results. Any ideas??

How are you powering the switch, please explain in detail. A diagram (crude but accurate) of power source and wiring.

List what each port is powering.

Also a screen grab of the device status TAB.

I am powering the Netonix from a Ubiquiti EdgePower, https://www.ui.com/accessories/edgepower/ I cant screen shot the config on the DC switch because I had to take it offline.

Why would you use a WS-12-250-DC and then power it with a power supply?

The WS-12-250-DC is designed to hook DIRECTLY to the battery bank with an inline fuse or breaker.

READ THIS POST: https://forum.netonix.com/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=4450&p=27007&hilit=+heaven+forbid#p27007

This is stated all over the forums and on the product description.

If you want to use a power supply then use the WS-12-DC switch not the WS-12-250-DC

But lets think about this, the WS-12-250-DC power supply is rated at 250W but is really more (we under rated it), and the power supply you are using to power that power supply is only rated at 150W........you do not see a problem here?

We do not recommend using our SMART DC switches with a power supply but if you do you should use a power supply rated LARGER than the switch power supply to deal with things like in-rush.
