WS-6-MINI Becomes Unresponsive

I have a WS-6-MINI running 1.5.5.

It is being powered 48VH from a ground based Netonix.

On the WS-6-MINI I have:

1 x airFiber5x @ 48VH
2 x airMax AC @ 24V

Several times a day we find that the switch stops responding to pings/web GUI access and all devices on it become unresponsive (it is unknown if they actually shut down, or just become unreachable).
When this happens, the ground based switch still shows a link at 1Gigabit, but data does not flow to/from the switch on the tower.

If I disable the power to the airFiber5x the switch operates fine. If I set the port between the WS-6-MINI and the ground to 100-Full the switch operates fine, but there are massive amounts of errors that count on the port, when the airFiber5x power is enabled.

What might the issue be?

I've tried tailing the log file, but nothing comes out before it crashes.

On the other post with a similar issue. I haven't gotten any confirmation as to whether the device actually crashed/rebooted. Have you been able to determine that it is?

It might be worth trying to setup a syslog server and logging the offending switch too it to give us a clue about what is happening right before (and possibly during) the incident.
