Hello!

I updated a WS-8-150-DC to 1.5.6 and snmp wasn't working anymore. I tried to start it by hand in command line, but the log says:

root@ns-stuetze5:/www# tail -f /var/log/snmpd.log
Cannot find module (SNMP-COMMUNITY-MIB): At line 0 in (none)
Cannot find module (SNMP-FRAMEWORK-MIB): At line 0 in (none)
Cannot find module (SNMP-MPD-MIB): At line 0 in (none)
Cannot find module (SNMP-USER-BASED-SM-MIB): At line 0 in (none)
Cannot find module (TUNNEL-MIB): At line 0 in (none)
Cannot find module (UCD-DLMOD-MIB): At line 0 in (none)
Cannot find module (IPV6-ICMP-MIB): At line 0 in (none)
Cannot find module (IPV6-MIB): At line 0 in (none)
Cannot find module (IPV6-TCP-MIB): At line 0 in (none)
Cannot find module (IPV6-UDP-MIB): At line 0 in (none)

I downgraded back to 1.5.5 and snmp was working again.

kind regards,

Andi

Same here. Tried to upgrade a WS-6-MINI and SNMP stopped working. When running SNMP walk on v1 and v2 it times out.

There is a confirmed issue with SNMP on 1.5.6. I am placing a warning on the download page and this one until it is repaired.

weti, bipbaep, and m00se (and anyone else who may have downloaded it)

Please delete the previous file wispswitch-1.5.6.bin and re-download it from the forum's.

I was able to replicate the issue and it has been corrected. The firmware file you will download now has snmp working again.
