Re: v1.2.0rc12 bug reports and comments
Upgraded from v1.1.8 to 1.2.0rc12 No problems. In the previous upgrades, Firefox v36, the upgrades all worked fine, but the update progression dialog seemed to have some hiccups. Now it seems to pass very smoothly.
The one new thing I tried was
Device / Discovery / Ubiquiti [x]
However, none of the ubnt discovery tools seem able to find it on a the same segment as other ubnt boxes that do appear.
adairw seemed to mention it here for v1.2.0rc10/11

But I don't seem to see a reply?

I got to see it just one time in the java discovery tool but when I tried again a dozen times to grab a screenshot, it would not show up.
I thought I would give it one more try before I hit Submit on this post and it worked.

Re: v1.2.0rc12 bug reports and comments
Using the same v2.4.1 of the java tool on a windows I tried a bunch more times just now, still no luck.
Same no luck from an airRouter "drop-down tools" on the same segment.
Edited to add:
Did a Wireshark of the Java Discovery attempt. The airRouter on the same segment seems to successfully broadcast UDP replies on ports 2279 & 2280.
The WS-8-250-AC does not seem to broadcast those.
This is a very vanilla config, no VLANs or filtering. I did not factory default after v1.1.8> v1.2.0rc12.

Re: v1.2.0rc12 bug reports and comments
I really don't know if/when it worked consistently or when it broke since I really have no cause to use it. It was one of those where I set it and forgot it was there things. My MINI on rc11 is the same hit-and-miss. Sometimes one of the two show up, sometimes both, and sometimes neither.

Re: v1.2.0rc12 bug reports and comments
Eric says it works everytime for him?
So either I or I will ask Tom from my WISP tomorrow to test the UBNT discovery and we will report back what we found from our testing.
I want to finish off v1.2.0 by this weekend as we are assembling the WS-12-250-AC and maybe the WS-8-MINI units this weekend and I need to flash them with v1.2.0 as they are not supported with any firmware less than v1.2.0.
